A recent post reminded me of the days when, as a graduate
student in Boston in the late 60's, we would go to a
place referred to as Hamburger Heaven in Harvard Square.
I don't know if this was its real name or just a nickname.
Anyway, it served burgers (a zillion different ways)
and the world's thinnest and most delicious onion
rings. My question is, does it still exist and if so,
what's its name? Thanks for your help.

It sounds like Bartley's Burger Cottage on Mass Ave near the Kong. It's a perennially popular place, and I used to like it, but I just can't eat red meat like that any more. The onion rings were great, though...
