The Village Inn in Essex Massachusetts. Great fried clams!!!

I believe it's on Route 133, the main highway to/through town. They are about a mile or so past Woodman's when driving from Gloucester.

Essex clams are world famous, and the Village Inn does them very well.

I find Woodman's (the inventor of fried clams it is said) to be too greasy most of the time, but I like the clam cakes at Woodman's.
