This year two women have opened a strictly vegetarian restaurant called Crudite (accented e). It is the first strictly vegetarian restaurant that I have seen in over 28 years of visiting. No fancy service, but a good food selection. (Upstairs, across from the hardware store near the center of town.) It was started by two women who have been frustrated by the absence of strictly vegetarian restaurants in Provincetown. Unfortunately, they spend long hours working at the restaurant and they still don't have anyplace else to go. They have done a service for the rest of us, however. - - | 0 0 | --000-------000-- Frank
