Last winter I went to Bugaboo Creek in Watertown with a friend. It wasn't too crowded and we were seated immediately. After about 25 minutes, we still hadn't seen a waiter. A bit frustrated, but (due to past waitressing experience), wanting to give them a chance, I flagged down the next waitress that passed. I asked if maybe there wasn't a waitress assigned to us because we hadn't been waited on yet. She apologized and said she'd look into it. 2 minutes later, she came back, said there was a mixup and we were seated in a closed section, but she'd wait on us. Somewhat appeased, (but still a bit pissy becasue, after all, we didn't seat ourselves and were certainly sitting there long enough to be noticed) we placed our order. At that point, the manager came over, very graciously apologized and gave us our choice of drinks or desserts on the house. I guess this isn't a huge earth shattering story, but it was nice to see that they felt badly enough about the mixup to give us free drinks. A small gesture on their part, but I remember it and have been back a few times since. A lot of restaurants would have just apologized and not bothered with a freebie. So they get points from me on that. The food itself is not extremely imaginative but fun and inexpensive, just fine for a "Chili's" sort of night. :) Chris

Bugaboo Creek Customer Service
My boyfriend and I ate at the one in Framingham/Natick andwere very disappointed. Mediocre service, strange flavors, lukewarm food, and they ignored the request my boyfriend made for his pasta to be made more spicy. Definitely overpriced for the value we received, but I think I'd consider it to be overpriced even if the food was decent. The talking moose is definitely a kid thing. We were there pretty late (10pm or so) and there weren't many children left, so we thought it was pretty weird. (I noticed there's a moose head i the bar -- does anyone know if *that* one talks? that could be interesting. :) I wouldn't go back. -Crystal
