 Green Street Grill in cambridge...funky
carribean food in the back of a neighbor hood bar!

India Palace in Union Square Somerville, better than
very good, not qquite excellent. Bring your own beer.

Maurizio's, Hanover Street Boston. Good northern Italian. Very fresh
food, very small. Fun and friendly staff.

Jae's...two locations, Columbus Ave at the beginning
of the South End and one at Inman Square. Very popular these days. Ecletic
Asian, pretty good sushi, pretty good Thai, great atmoshere, in a young
 and cool fashion.

Legal Seafood, all over, inluding Park Square and Kendall square.
Everyone loves to hate this place. Not inexpensive, but I like
 their fish.

Just off the top of my head on a Friday afternoon.

Legal Seafood is good, but only if you are in a rush, the decor, in most
are not that appealling, but what can you expect from a chain. I
 personally favor the mussels o'gratin

If you are looking for a good bowl of Clam Chowder go to Turner's
fishery...they've won a chowder award several times, also include their
 assortment of peppers.

Italian- Appetito's in Newton Centre...Salmon is always good there.
Expresso is a good way to top things off.

Chinese- Golden Temple in Brookine on Beacon Street...innovative
atmosphere...regulars are know by name...try and get the waiter Benny he
is hilarious. Try the Golden Cloud noodles. Be sure to make
reservations if you are going on the weekend or Sunday brunch. They get
 really crowded.

Be sure to post what you think.

The Blue Room, Kendall Sq. Cambridge -- imaginative and delicious food.
 Always excellent service and food.

Buddha's Delight, Chinatown, Boston -- if you want Chinese that will
leave you feeling good and full. They have never heard of MSG here.

The King & I, two locations in Boston -- good, inexpensive Thai food.

Hammersly's, South End, Boston -- expensive, but worth it.

Beba's, across from the Public Gardens, Boston -- ultra expensive, ultra
attitude, ultra good for impressing people. Food is good/very good but
does not live up to its reputation.

Mamma Maria's, North End, Boston -- slightly pricey, but wonderful
Italian restaurant, with ambiance and valet parking.

Morton's, Copley Square, Boston -- if you want a steak this is the place.

Just returned from Boston and dined out at a wonderful NEW restaurant,
Ambrosia. It's on Huntington near the Marriott. Very interesting/classy
decor. Fantastic and interesting food, well prepared. Artistic
presentations. Rather pricey but not for the value. Worth the trip!!
