If you can afford it, the Boston Harbor Hotel at Rowes Wharf serves an incredible buffet. We have eaten there a couple of Thanksgivings, and they were some of the best meals of my life.

last year we went to henrietta's table at the charles hotel in harvard sq. i think it was $50 pp for an amazing buffet. there was a smoked seafood bar (salmon, scallops, mussels, shrimp, more), several great entrees including turkey, interesting salads and side dishes and of course dessert. drinks were extra. hard to say if any ayce is worth that much but i expect that is the going rate for the better holiday buffets. they know they can charge it and get it. the staff works very hard and earns their keep on those days too.
