Boston for Breakfast

If you don't mind going to Somerville, I really like Sound Bites, on
Broadway near the intersection of Boston Ave. If you go on a Saturday
morning, try to get there early, or you'll be waiting for a table - it's a
 small place.

Henry's Diner on Western Ave. in Allston/Brighton has a
parking lot and good omelettes. Johnny D's in Davis Sq.
 Somerville has a good brunch.

Better than Sound Bites, IMHO, is Renee's Cafe, between Davis and Teele
Squares in Somerville. Wonderful herbed home fries, great veggie benedict.

But down south here in Boston I like Sorella's on Centre Street in
Hyde Square (got the Best of Boston 1999 for waffles, which I've never
had). It's a diner atmosphere with tons of food. They're open by 7am, and
parking is pretty easy if you get there before 10am on a Saturday.

The Arsenal Diner in Watertown. Sometimes a wait on Saturday morning,
but go early, worth every penny (and they don't charge a lot either).

They are easy to get to, too.

Try the Cantata Cafe on Centre St. in Jamaica Plain, for good breakfast on
weekends. Great coffee, nice atmosphere, also have frentip though--arrive
before 10 am for a seat, or wait a little while.

Also a good place is The Black Crow in Hyde Square in JP; they don't open
 until 10 am on weekends.
