Maryland is a big place ... do you know where you'll be going specifically.. and more importantly when ?? Crab season doesn't really happen till later this summer, but moves northward each month.  Baltimore should have decent crabs by June.

Two places come to mind.  Both are in Ocean City.

        1.) Captains Galley - killer crab cakes and shrimp salad.  I always
have a hard time          choosing between the two.

        2.) The Best Crab Co. - They have just that. THE BEST CRABS.   Call
ahead to reserve "the big ones".  Take out only.
