Some other good crab houses in Baltimore, or close The new Gunnings out off route 100 is great , not the Gunnungs at hanover street but the one out on Rt 100. They used to run the one on Hanover Street but now they run this one, try some fried pepper rings, great The Barn out on Hartford Rd has good crabs also. I have not been to Bo Brooks in a long time but they were always a safe bet for crabs.

IMHO one of the best and most reasonably priced places is Faidley's Seafood at Lexington Market. It's just a stand up kind of place with a backfin cake being about 8 bucks each. I also love the smoked crabcake at Nancy Longo's Pierpoint restaurant on Aliceanna St. in the Fells Point section.

For superb crab cakes - try Angelina's on Harford Road. No steamed crabs
 served, though.
