DiMillos boat on the waterfront has good dining, great bar, and fun folks. The OLD PORT area has dozens of fine restaurants including: F. Parker Reidy's (converted bank) The Seaman's Club The Old Port Tavern The Great Lost Bear on Forest Ave. is interesting. The Sportsman Grille on Congress is inexpensive and filling. The Roma on Congress St. is upscale and expensive. As I said before, there are dozens of fine eateries in and around Portland. If you go hungry in that city, something is wrong. Seafood is obviously the area specialty, and lobsters, clams, fresh fish, and shrimp are prepared in a number of different ways. Good luck and Bon appetite.
