I prefer K-Paul's for lunch if you can do it, because it's cheaper and less crowded - and no minimum per person. For dinner, Commander's Palace is fantastic, but expensive. Emeril's, in the Warehouse district and not too far from the FQ, was excellent when we ate there a year and a half ago and very reasonably priced. Our favorite restaurant of all was Brigsten's, but it is even further than CP. But the food was great, the best we had in NO.
