In the Ropponggi area of Tokyo, there is a wonderful garlic restaurant -- that is, it serves a variety of dishes with moderate to heavy use of garlic. Good food, reasonably priced.

The Captain Whidbey Inn near Coupeville (On Whidbey Island) is one of the best places to eat in the region. The cajun dishes are great.

By the way, is Zapata's (Mexican food, what else would it serve?) still in Othello? This restaurant was reviewed by some paper in Bellevue, I believe, a few years ago. Shortly afterwards, I had to go to Pullman and purposefully drove through Othello on the way to try the place. The food was quite tasty, the service quick, and the price---right for me---very cheap. The two of us may have eaten a good filling lunch for under $5, but I'm not willing to sign that in blood. Under $10 for certain.

Anyway, go there! Can't remember the street address, but in Othello, that's not really a problem.

The Cap'n Whidbey is indeed a wonderful place to eat, and very homey and comfortable to boot. It is an old lodge on the shore of Penn Cove built entirely with madrone logs. The accomodations in the main lodge are pretty spartan, but there is a modern annex that has rooms with baths. Be sure to have mussels in ginger sauce for an appetizer (the portions are generous, so one serving is enough for my girlfriend and I). The mussels are the reason we are always trying to find reasons to find ourselves near the Cap'n Whidbey.
