The two best meals in nine months of dining in Tuscany were at Nello la Taverna in Siena and Taverna in Chianti in Vagliagli (a tiny village 12 km north of Siena). I recommend any item on either menu, any bottle from either wine list, but you will fare even better if you ask for suggestions about combining the two. Michael Kucher
