When I was in Rome in 1988, I had a great (and reasonable) meal at Ristarante Pasquilino. I don't recall the address, but it is literally just a few blocks walk from the Colosseum (sp?). Check a phone book when you arrive. BTW, my parents dined there in 1991 and were every bit as impressed. Sal DeTraglia (would a name like this lie about Italian food?)

Rome restaurants?

The food is fair, ambience is marvelous, and the atomosphere of the Piazza is outstanding. Suggest you get a current book of Fudor's ROME at your leading bookstore. His suggestions are great.
