Thumbs up on the brewery--I had a pretty good brat, and the beer was quite good. The Cubs were on the road, but viewable on the big screen, and a ten-ounce glass of the wheat beer was 59 cents in honor of Sammy's home run count. It's probably gone up. :-)

I've liked the Outpost in the past, but the music has been way too loud on recent visits. The Pepper Lounge, which we visited for the first time tonight, was somewhat quieter, and the food was pretty good, and the atmosphere pleasantly hip.

Leona's, of course, is not the least bit hip, but is very predictable and is quite nice on the patio on warm nights. Not really American, but they have burgers and ribs. :-)

Oh, sorry 'bout that. Weeghman Park Brewery, on Clark just south of Addison, east side o' the street, can't miss it. I should mention that the fries were a tad cold, but the brat really was tasty, and the beer was quite tasty too. I'll try for a more extensive review after my next visit.

I've visited Pan Asia once and will NEVER go back there again! All the worse parts of pan/asian/americanized asian cuisine are served in this restaurant! If you want ethnic food in this neighborhood, you can do a lot better going to other restaurants.
