When I worked in Downers Grove we would go to Nick's Tavern in beautiful downtown Lemont for Friday lunch - monstrous excellent burgers. My buddy who lives in DG reported they were still good as of last year. N.B. it is a tavern - no salad bar or F. onion soup. IIRC somebody on this NG also recommended them when the subject came up last year.
