The food we ate there was overcooked and bland, and the service was unremarkable. My chicken vesuvio was ho hum, and the broccoli that accompanied it had been boiled free of any flavor. (Boiled broccoli is an acceptable side dish at cafeterias and few other places.) I was very underwhelmed, especially for the prices. We made the mistake of peeking in to see a packed restaurant and assuming that this was a good sign. Apparently someone likes it. For red-sauce Italian I prefer Bacchanalia or Bruna's, both on S. Oakley. Ken
