There is a restaurant called "Tania's" which is up in the Logan Square area. I have been there twice; once we got excellent service, the other time it sucked. They have a lot of Cuban specialities (including Ropa Viejo). I am told it is quite authentic. I really liked the food. They have dancing and live music most nights, which apparently runs until the wee hours of the morning. The food is on the expensive side, but it worth it for a nice evening out. Oh, and their wine menu is practically a book!
