Hi all,

Annual peking duck coming up friday. Any recommendations?

Previous year's

T'ang dynasty Ok fancy place-may go here again this year unless other suggestions seem convincing

Emperors' choice OK service slow and somewhat annoying for this classical dish-had to wait forever to get table even though we had reservations.

Hong Kong Bay (n wells st) one year very good next year not so good; place has changed a lot even has sushi now.

Evergreen Best of the bunch but according to my chinese wife still missing something

All comments appreciated.

I had amazing peking-style duck at Red Light on Randolph Street. It was not served like peking duck (i.e. it was served with ginger and pears rather than plum sauce and pancakes) but the preparation-wise, it was peking duck as best I could tell. I still don't know where they get the duck (maybe they make it?). Anyway, I am so-so on the restaurant overall, but the duck was just excellent.
