Don't miss the Big Bowl a chain of Asian noodle shops. There is a good one across the street from the Downtown Marriott, but others through out Chicago. Try the Big Budda Bowl. Only problem is that this is Chicago and when I was there in June the A/C on a 90+ day was inadequate with the windows wide open to the heat and noise of the street. Staff is usually great, but in the hot weather they sometimes wig out. Can get crowded at peak times with long lines. Come early.
