I just had to tell everyone this.
Tonight I had dinner at the Oak Terrace in the Drake Hotel and it was really, really, good. The food was cooked perfectly and is was very reasonably priced. I had a beautiful duck confit salad for starters followed by a filet steak. The filet was served on gorgonzola mashed potatoes with an onion marmalade with baby vegetables around the outside. It looked and tasted so good! My girlfriend had a smoked salmon and avocado timbale which looked like a picture when our waiter brought it to our table. She had veal medallions for her main course which were so big she couldn't even finish them. We both loved our evening there and the food really made our night. I am so looking forward to going back again.
