Arright, arright. How about: I just found a great new brunch place in Andersonville. Hsband and I are used to hour-long waits at the very mediocre Ann Sathers (how come all the Ann Sathers I've been to have a visible bug problem?), or a 45-minute wait in line at Einstein's. However, completely by accident, last Sunday we stumbled upon the re-done Andie's Restaurant, on Clark, north of Foster by a block or two. They now have a Saturday and Sunday brunch menu. $20 for two bought us lots of good coffee, an enormous and incredibly fresh omelette filled with tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach, and feta, a side of yummy roasted potatoes with onions, and amazing french toast with date syrup. My only fear is that within two weeks, this will become yet another hour-long wait place (although unlike Sather's, this place would be worth the wait). The day we stumbled in, it was nearly empty. Three stars from us, but don't you all go at once!
