For Southern/Cajun try Wishbone, 1000 W. Washington, Inexpensive to Moderate. All entrees come with 2 side dishes. They also have lunch-time cafeteria, $12 per person tax and tip and no alcohol for dinner.

For Cajun, try Heaven on Seven, lunch only , in the Garland Building, 111 N. Wabash, 7th floor, Inexpensive. $ 8-$10 per person tax and tip and no alcohol.

For Indian, drive to Devon, west of Western and look for lunch/dinner buffets, Inexpensive. $10 - $12 per person tax tip and no alcohol.

For Mexican, Tecalitan, at 1814 W. Chicago (do not go to the location on N. Ashland, it is a higher end restaurant and will be more expensive). Inexpensive. $10 - $12 per person tax tip and no alcohol Another Mexican is Nuevo Leon at 1515 W. 18th in the Pilsen area near IIT. Inexpensive. $10 - $12 per person tax tip and no alcohol.

For Chinese, try Phoenix at 2131 S. Archer or Evergreen ar 2411 S. Wentworth both in Chinatown, also near IIT, both Moderate. $12 - $15 per person tax tip and no alcohol (dinner time). Lunch specials will be cheaper.

For Southern barbeque, try Old Plantation House on Armitage, one block west of Sheffield. Inexpensive. $7 - $10 per person tax tip and no alcohol.

For Vietnemese, try Hau Giang at 1104 W. Argyle. Closed Thursday. Inexpensive. $10 - $15 per person tax tip and no alcohol. Was there yesterday and five of us shared a wonderful feast of 4 appetizers, 2 soups and 3 entrees with a lavish tip for $15 a person.

Have a wonderful time on your visit.
