I will not vouch for the authenticity, but a place opened up around Clark and Cornelia (~3500 N Clark) called Arabesque. I've been in once, a while back (before my days of trolling chi.eats). The food was good -- as I expected, but nothing stood out. The atmosphere was somewhat quiet -- the place was not very crowded and it never really has been well attended. That fact more than any other probably has kept me from going back. Someone wrote: > Where is a good place to eat Moroccan food in Chicago these days? Any ideas? > Thanks

I'll second this - it's one of my favorites (although I haven't been there in a while...) Assuming it hasn't changed - no liquor license so bring your own (there is a liquor store across the street)...
