In an older posting I read about a cafeteria at Bank of America > (@Adams and LaSalle) that is (or was) open to the public. I haven't > found it. Does anybody know anything about it? The cafeteria is totally fun in a Throwback to the Sixties kind of way. They have a fairly decent salad bar and several other stations with hot steam table stuff, sandwiches made to order, desserts, breads etc. They also do kooky institutional stuff that you may not have seen since the college dorm days such as November is Free Range Oatmeal Month. The prices are pretty reasonable. The best thing about it though is the funky ancient sixties or seventies decor in the dinning room. Well, that and the sense of space - even with several hundred people in there at lunch time, it does not seem crowded unlike pretty much every other place in the loop. I have not been there since last autumn, so my data may be a bit out of date.
