Had lunch in Chinatown again today. Moon Palace, 216 W. Cermak, Chicago. Next to the fire house.

Moon Palace has been in Chinatwon for years. They were once across the street upstairs next to the Chinese arch on Wentworth. They have a very clean and comfortable dining area. As is the custom at many of the restaurants in Chinatown they offer lunch specials.

Moon Palace has many specials to choose from. About 20 of them. All ranging from 4.95-5.95, which includes a choice of two soups, entree, large portion of white rice, and pot of tea. Portions are generous.

I had the fish w/green beans. The entree was a sliced fish, probably walleye, in a garlic semi spicy delicate sauce. Excellent flavor and prepared in such a way that the whole green beans were very crunchy. The soups today were hot and sour and egg drop.

Service was also very professional and attentive.

Total on bill= 6.50

This is the type of lunch special that get's me to go back for dinner.

Scale of 1-10.......... 8.5
