Boston Blackie's, 164 E. Grand.

Absolutely great (half-pound, cooked to order) burgers. Decor is art-deco with walnut everywhere. Nice place.

Haven't been to Sayat Nova in a while, but it used to be a good place for Armenian/generic Middle Eastern food. Always liked the lamb and couscous. In my experience, good food, good service, never a wait, reasonable prices.

He's asking for fast food grilled kind of stuff CPL, Famous Daves is now Issac Haye's Restaurant and Blues Club, it's on Clark between Superior and Chicago, and it sounds too fancy for his needs. Mr. G's, next door is more of what he's looking for.

He should head into the 520 N. Michigan building and go into the food court on the second floor there's a ton of pretty good places with meals and sandwiches ranging from 4.00-9.00. You get to sit down in very pleasnt surroundings. Check out the leather chairs and couches on the East end of the food court. I could sleep there.
