I've heard that one of the new additions there is the "Udupi", serving a variety of South Indian dishes. Yummm.... Have fun...

Downtown, look for Bukhara (State? and Ontario), Klay Oven, and Reza's (Iranian, but then the food at Bukhara isn't really "Indian" either). There are also 3 or 4 dives that cater to the taxi drivers (Baba, Daawat, M & M, etc.) but I would avoid these places. For more variety and authenticity, follow Mani's advice and take a cab up to Devon. There's Udupi, Bundoo Khan, and 10 or 20 others. If you like Afghan food, then The Helmand (vicinty of Halsted and Belmont) is awesome. -hd
