You can park in back, you can see the Port Edward Seafood restaurant >and Fox River from the lot, as reference. The Texan also serve Tex-Mex breakfasts on the weekend. Truly amazing. One caveat: as the years have gone on and the place becomes more popular, the portions have become much smaller than they used to be. Three years ago, you'd get a mountain of beef when you'd order the sliced beef dinner: now it's just a small hill. Still delicious, but skimpy compared to what it used to be. They also get very crowded during the dinner rush, and parking is at a premium in the area. The lot Kim refers to is pretty small. When you visit the Texan, look for the autographs on the wall: Chris Elliott and Brian Doyle-Murray signed it when they were in Woodstock filming _Groundhog Day_, and Danny Bonaduce scrawled his name since he's a neighbor. jtl
