Chef Dudley Nieto of the late, lamented Chapulin restaurant has recently begun cooking at Blue Mesa, 1729 N. Halsted St. (312/944-5990). This is a Southwestern, rather than Mexican, restaurant, so it will be interesting to see what changes Nieto effects in the menu, which should be starting to show his influence soon. Leah
