It is pretty nice - they have white tablecloths - but not so nice that most male customers wear jackets and ties - jeans are ok. A friend told me a couple weeks ago about a more fancy Cuban Restaurant he works in that's towards downtown. I've forgotten the name and location, but he gave me a card. I'll try to remember to post it. Barry Grau ([email removed]) UIC Medical Center Information Technology Services 809 S Marshfield Avenue Chicago, Illinois 60612

Cuban Restaurants
My wife and I also like Cafe 28 quite a bit, but I wouldn't call it a "Cuban restaurant". It has definite Cuban influences on the eclectic menu, but has other influences as well. The food is great and everyone who works there is usually very friendly so it is still a great place to eat, but not what I think of when I think of "Hey, let's go get some Cuban." What do I think of when I'm thinking Cuban? Well for starters authentic Cuban restaurants _must_ have goat on the menu, so start there. Still looking so if anybody knows, please post.
