Chicago restaurants: new and good?

In response to the question about downtown
Chicago restaurants that are good, Topolobampo/
Frontera Grill are still excellent as ever.
Regarding tapas restaurants, I think that what
Ms. Schaefer had in mind was Cafe Babareeba on
Halsted, but there is also a fine (albeit very
crowded on weekends!) tapas bar on LaSalle St
north of the Loop called Cafe Iberico which
is cheaper and more authentic. (There is also
a new branch of Emilio's Tapas which has open-
ed in Lincoln Park which I've not visited but
which has received good reviews.) If you like
Provencal cooking, I can heartily recommend a
recently opened bistro called Cassis, at
160 E. Huron St., near the downtown Northwestern
Hospital. The bouillabaise is amazing,
and there is a variety of reasonably priced
options. Cassis is definitely your best bet.
