I would highly recommend Topo Gigio (N. Wells location). Food is always fantastic, prices are relatively reasonable (pasta dishes = $13-16, seafood is more), waitstaff is good, atmosphere is plain but smart and cozy (it's a small place. In the summer it has an outdoor area which is alway fantiastic to eat in but you know the Chicaho weather.
