For cannolis the best i have found is D'Amatos bakery on Grand, 1 block east of
 ogden around 1000 Wet I think.  I don't know a good gelato place any more
 since AL Gelato went mostly wholesale and closed ther Evanston store many
 years ago.

Have ladle will travel.
