Cafe Margot

We ate at the Cafe Margot on Sunday night. It's on Milwaukee, just south of Addison.

It's nicely decorated, with good food. I had pork chops marinated in ginger and sherry. My wife had the duck. We both enjoyed our entrees. The side dish was a large scoop of good mashed potatoes and some tasty but somewhat overcooked green beans.

With a bottle of so-so Merlot ($16), we spent about $70 (before the Transmedia discount).

The menu changes monthly.

Background music ranged from Chopin to polka.

Transmedia and Entertainment accepted.

Have you been there? What did you think?
