On the North Side, the best burrito has to be El Famous, at about 7000 N. Clark. $3.25 gets you a burrito the size of your head.

Nicole, its funny that you mention about the Maraviallas on Harper, because a friend of mine from U of C says that the burritos at the Maraviallas on 63rd for some reason arer much better then the ones you get from the one on Harper. I dont know, Ive never tried the one on Harper, but if you get a chance, check out the Maraviallas on 63rd.

My favorite has to be a place on the South side of North Avenue, just west of Pulaski. And I think they have another one on Lincoln, south of Belmont, but don't count on either, cuz I've not been there in ages.

My beat cop (where I work) is a long-time burrito guy (career cop, 4 years shy of what's needed to retire - not yer "normal" Chicago Cop, so I take his recommendations seriously) recently mentioned "Arturo's" <sp?> at Armitage and Western.

I don't remember if I got the intersection right, but someone here will correct me if I'm wrong.

Price: $3.50. A football, and a delight.

That's in my "grazing range", so I've gotta try it.
