The Resort has two very nice restaurants. Beverly's is the classier of the two; it's located on one of the upper levels. I was there in the summer of 87. I recall being able to get good escargot in Beverly's. I can't recall the name of the restaurant on the ground level, but I do remember it had an outstanding salad bar with pickled herring, too! You get a nice view of Lake Coeur d'Alene from this restaurant. The lounge area in the resort doubles as the dining area for Sunday brunch. Brunch here is really excellent - a nice balance of breakfast and lunch foods. Chefs will prepare omelettes and the like for you, too. There's a good Mexican place near the resort if you're heading to the resort along Appleway. Can't recall the name, but I think it was "Cantina" something or other. I had a good meal there.

I actually lived in Coeur d'Alene on a work assignment, so if I can give you any more advice about the area, just e-mail me. Downtown Coeur d'Alene isn't terribly attractive, but the natural scenery is really gorgeous - I recommend you take a cruise on Lake Coeur d'Alene.

Enjoy!
Joe
