Do not miss the Haile Maile (sp?) General Store - and make sure you reserve in advance - and order the BBQ ribs appetizer. It's up country, so it takes a while to get there -- good roads, though. It's a good 1/2 hour out of Kamikazi -- oops, Kaanapali.

Roy's is waaaay overpriced and waaaaay overrated--with attitude, no less. If you catch Roy's right, though, it can be amazing! But I'v eonly eaten at the flagship on Oahu . . . .

Something wonderful is not pizza. Something wonderful is the Four Seasons, with Georges Mavrothalassitis, the best chef in the islands.
