A few days ago, I posted a request for Greek restaurants around the world. Special thanks to all who replied.
Here comes the list compiled so far. If you have any pieces of information (additions/corrections), please, feel free to let me know.

Toronto, Ontario:
Lots of awesome Greek restaurants along Danforth Avenue. We frequent The
Astoria, across from the Chester subway station. (Cynthia Sanoy)
Knossos. E side Yonge, S of Carleton.
Mr Greek, on Danforth, is a great place to eat Greek food. I don't know
when it closes but I've been in there as late as 3:30 am (this is a
big deal for stuffy old Toronto). They are quick, cheap and very tasty!
(Allen Clark)
Ouzeri. 500 Danforth Ave. A really fun Greek restaurant that even has
decent food.

Los Angeles (downtown):
Epirus - Burlingame
I don't have much information on this place since I've yet to try it. Small, about 6 months old. Downtown, just off of Burlingame Blvd. From: [email removed] (Slothrop) ; Los Angeles (San Fernando Valley):
There is a good greek restaurant in the Winnetka/Canoga Park area of the San Fernando Valley called, I believe, Marianthe's. It is on Saticoy west of Tampa. From: vgriffin@liquid ; Los Angeles, CA (Orange County): I came across a very good Greek Restaurant in Orange County (Southern California). It is called the Athenian and it is located in Huntington Beach at the Corner of Springdale and Edinger. The restaurant is located in the same shopping center as the highly visible Vons Supermarket. From: [email removed]
;
Santa Cruz, CA:
"Vasili's": on Highway 1 on north end of Santa Cruz (attire: casual) -- family-owned and run, laidback Greek style plus laidback Santa Cruz style equals *really* laidback place. Very good food, limited menu but they do have imported Greek wines, small family-run taverna atmosphere. From: [email removed]
;
Greensboro, NC:
"Acropolis" [downtown]: don't have address, sorry
(attire: casual) -- family owned and run; highly recommended for food and service but it is a converted lunch counter so don't expect remarkable ambiance; just go for the food. Ask for Jimmy and tell him Curtis Jackson sent you, then enjoy his and his mother Eleni's cooking. From: [email removed]
;
Chicago, IL:
"Greek Islands": Greektown (no address, sorry)
(attire: casual) -- large place; don't expect small homestyle Mama-cooking-in-kitchen here. More of a restaurant than a taverna. From: [email removed]

Yiasso now has three shops, with another opening soon, if not already. There's the original on S. Bascom, another on Sunnyvale-Saratoga Road, and one near Oakridge Mall. The fourth will be in the new center on El Camino at San Tomas (SE corner). From: [email removed]

Nick's Sandwiches & Subs
Deli Sandwiches as well as Dinner entree's

East Village Deli and Grille
(This one is sort of a sports bar atmosphere but the food is great.
I usually eat there @twice a week. The chicken with feta and diced
tomatoes is wonderful (Mediterranean Chicken).)
"Blue Plate Special" type restaurants
-------------------------------------
Mediterranean Restaurant
Parkway Restaurant
Three Brothers Restaurant
Steaks, Seafood, and Greek specialties
--------------------------------------
Poseidon Steak & Seafood (dinner only)
(Voted Asheville's Favourite Restaurant. The dinners run around $15.00
and are excellent. Though its on the edge of town, it is always
packed, so a reservation is suggested. Live piano music on weekends.)

New York City, NY:
No list of Greek Restaurants would be complete without Periyali in NYC. NY Times rated three stars. It's the only gourmet Greek restaurant I've ever come across- and the food is spectacular. If you don't already have this one, I'll dig up the exact address for you. From [email removed] Wed Jan 4 23:48:50 1995

;
Brockton, MA:
"Christo's": About 20 miles south of Boston. I practically grew up in the place, having been a regular with my family since it opened about 30 years ago. The food is reasonably priced, the setting is casual, but a bit crowded on weekends! From: [email removed] ; Denver, CO: Try Amonia (that's spelled incorrectly) on east Colfax in Denver. Really great food and they have these incredible semolina/rosewater cookies. In fact, if anyone's going that way, please bring some back.Greek
COMPILATION: Greek restaurants around the world.
And then there's Ted's Greek Corner on Congress in Austin, Texas USA. The food is great and the price is right. We also have Mykonos on Burnet Road. The food is awesome, but it's a bit of a drive for me. Downtown is about as far north as I tend to get for lunch.
