One of my favorite restaurants is in Savannah - Elizabeth's on 37th.
Her menu changes weekly depending on what is in season. If the
roasted eggplant soup is on the menu, go for it! The restaurant
is defintely not vegetarian, but usually has something vegetarian
on the menu or there is something adaptable to be vegetarian (i.e.
pasta). I just purchased her new cookbook, "Savannah Seasons" and
 it's wonderful.

There are tons of great restaurants in Charleston, many of which
have vegetarian entrees. Some of our favorites include: Carolina's,
 Magnolia's, Poogan's Porch.
