If the place is still open (see previous posters' comments) - the food is very good and very expensive. I dropped about $75/per during my visit about a year ago. As the name implies, the restaurant is an old church (huge) with a gorious, dark interior. The wait staff is dressed in friar's robes. The service was terrific. All in all a great dinner, probably a bit more expensive that it should have been.

I just called them. They are still open in their 26th year. I have not
eaten there myself since about 1979, and at that time I thought it interesting but a little over priced. The peson that answered the phone told me that the average tab worked out to about $45 per person.
