All three of the restaurants you mentioned Pano and Paul's, Buckhead Diner, and Prizzi's are owned by the same restaurant management company and are very good. (They also own 104 West and Chops.) Pano and Paul's is a favorite for anniversary dinners and is supposed to be the most romantic of the group. Prizzi's is big on how the food is presented rather than on flavors. Buckhead Diner combines great down home food with a twist and has great service. Sandee

Forget all those pricey joints you've been reading about. For the best meal of your life, try the Taco Mac on Mountain Industrial, in Tucker. You haven't lived till you've had an order of their hot wings washed down with a draft, or two, of Guiness Stout. Nothing compares to this.

Frankly, I wouldn't put Taco Mac's wings, whether it's the Tucker, Emory or Virginia-Highland branch, in the top 30 buffalo wings I've had across this country. And their beer on tap is often stale. They're serviceable, but hardly sublime. There's a place over a few doors down from Fat Matt's Rib Shack, called (I think) Buffalo Wings, that's pretty damn good.
