Just returned from Altanta...staying at the Ritz Buckhead.   The Dining Room was exceptional.   Make your Dining Room  reservations first...then hotel reservations.    The Dining Room is a Five Diamond restaurant and it is exceptional!

Then try Veni, Vedi, Veci...excellent Italian.

It's not a :Fine Dining: experience, but Mary Mac's Tea Room on Ponce De Leon has some of the finest homestyle southern cooking this side of my grandmother.  When I lived in Atlanta I could never afford the really expensive places, but Mary Mac's sure felt special.  I also have heard that The Dining Room and Pano's and Paul's are not to be missed.  Anyone else have Atlanta ideas?
