They have kind of funky decor (although I rather like it, I understand it may not be everyone's cup of tea), but the service has never been less than good when I've been there (it's usually towards the wonderful side), and the same goes for the food. They also make a great margarita!

For lower priced and unpretentious, Long Horn was great, although they have gone soft the last few years. City Grill is tremendous if you want a classic staeak and chop place. Pete

I had a good steak, but it was rather salty for me, as I don't usually use salt on my food. Even better is the Cherokee Cattle Company on Alpharetta Highway in Roswell. Two can eat there with an appetizer for about $40. I like it much better than Outback.
Bones is toprated but so is Chops. Both have excellent quality beef but I hear Bones pours a more generous martini. And both are very expensive.

I've had an acceptable steak at either the City Grill (in Midtown) and the Highland Tap (in Virgina-Highlands neighborhood). Out in the boonies (N.E., up in Gwinnett Co.), I've had the best luck at place called "The Cork". There's a couple of the massive amount of red meat chains in town (places like Ruth's Chris, Morton's of Chicago, and such; most of them concentrated in the Buckhead area). If you're thinking more of you mid-range places then you've chains like Longhorn Steaks and Outback. Your mileage may vary. AWL
