Lisa:

Breakfast: Flying Buscuit on McLendon ST in Little Five Points.

Lunch: The Vortex or Bridgetown Grill, both on Peachtree ST in Midtown. Best burgers and jerked chicken (respectively) in the City.

Dinner: Sundown Cafe, (Lenox/Cheshire Bridge RD) or for big $$$, The Sundial atop the Westin Peachtree Plaza downtown. The world's tallest revolving steakhouse.

Have fun. Just walk around Buckhead and you'll have more different, wonderful restaurants than you can even imagine.

Carbo's Cafe is my absolute favorite for a romantic dinner. In Buckhead on Roswell Road (just off Peachtree) Make reservations!

Also for romance, try Pano's and Paul's. On West Pace's Ferry, not far from Buckhead. Make reservations!

Buckhead Diner is a fun place. Great food and ambiance. You may have a wait because they don't take reservations.

I hear Babette's (small French restaurant) is great, but I haven't tried it yet.

Downtown, there's Dailey's. Good food, music in the lounge.

Any of the "peasant" restaurants are good. There's The Pleasant Peasant on Peatree in midtown. Loud, crowded, but great food.

The Peasant Uptown in Phipps Plaza in Buckhead (across from Lenox Square) is also quite good.

Despite consistently good reviews, Brasserie le Coze in Lenox Square was not worth the money or the time. Waiters were haughty, food just so-so.

There are sooo many great dining spots in Atlanta. I've hardly scratched the surface.

Bon apetit!

I concur...Bacchanalia is the finest....IF YOU CAN get in. Sold out months in advance...rats!

But you can't go wrong with 103 West, on Paces Ferry.. Seeger's is supposed to be fine...but I haven't eaten there. Seeger was Head Chef at the Ritz Carlton Dining Room....another fine place.
