I just received my Gourmet 10/97 issue. Living close to Atlanta, I though that I would check out the top restaurants. The number one was Bacchanalia.
I called the restaurant last night, and they told me that they do not have a singe opening until sometime in November. Has anyone else been able to get it....?? It sounds wonderful.

Unfortunately, after the crowds died down a bit after it had been open for a year or so (i.e. no problem getting a reservation on a week's notice), things have since picked up with a vengeance. Good luck, but it is worth the wait. Also, a very good CA oriented wine list and, almost unique in Atlanta, moderately friendly corkage.
