Re Recommendations in Cannes

I highly recommend Le Mesculin on Rue. St. Antoine in the old town. We ate there twice last September because it was so good. There is a 185f menu with choice of appetizer, main course, cheese course and dessert. They also served an amuse of lobster bisque. I highly recommend the simple grilled sea bass with mashed eggplant. It was delicious. Also, the tarte tatin with bananas instead of apples served hot with gingerbread ice cream. Service, presentation, everything made this one of the best restaurants we have been to in France.....we even enjoyed it more than Boyer! We also had a good seafood meal a Caveau 30 on rue Felix Faure (a street of one seafood restaurant after another). Most of them are reasonable. Have a great time.
