Joël Robuchon in Paris???
If it is true that Joel Rubuchon is going to close, personally, I wouldn't be disappointed. I know that Patricia Wells has rated it as the top restaurant in the world, but personally, I would not even consider a return visit. My wife and I were subjected to cold and inattentive service by the staff. There are much better ways to spend $500+ for lunch. . . . . .wouldn't you agree? We had wonderful meals at Jacques Cagna, Tallivent, Guy Savoy, Grande Cascade, & Gerrard Besson all of which were far more enjoyable than what we we endured at this "Holy of Holies". I, too, have had a spectacular meal at GUY SAVOY, and Jacques Cagna has just been recommended to me by someone else today. I'll let you know. I've already got my reservation for Savoy while I'm in Paris. John [email removed]
