Chartiers at 7 rue faub. Montmartre (Montmartre Metro) is about as cheap as one can find in Paris. Definitely not gourmet, in fact quite ordinaire <fr> but decent food at unbelievably low cost. You'll be seated at a table with strangers if you do not have a full table of 8.
