The Colonnade on Bayshore is very good and reasonably priced. Good seafood. The Columbia in Ybor City is a neat Cuban reataurant with good food. The Spaghetti Warehouse is good Italian at a cheap price. Donatello's is supposed to be good upscale Italian although I have never been. Bern's Steak House is "world renowned". Good steaks, excellent desert. There used to be a good French restaurant on Kennedy across from University of Tampa but I can't remember the name. Don't know if it's still there. FOR HIGH PRICE GOOD ITALIAN GO TO ARMANIS ON TOP OF THE HYATT ON COURTNEY CAMPBELL CAUSAY. FOR A TERRIFIC INNOVATIVE ITALIAN/AMERICAN CROSS THE HOWARD FRANKLIN AND GO TO ST. PETE BEACH. THE NAME OF THE RESTAURANT IS EMM & CEE. IT'S ON GULF BLVD NORTH OF THE DON CE SAR. CALL FOR RESERVATIONS BECAUSE IT IS SEASON...367-5656
Opinions are opinions:) Most people would probably agree with me on Columbia, Colonade, and Bern's. Spaghetti Warehouse draws mixed reviews. These are just a few of the places the wife and I enjoyed during our six years in Tampa. Thanks for providing the name of Mis En Place. That is the French restaurant I was referring to.
